Lioli are the only Alliance sponsored club who are yet to win the Winter Challenge
The 2018 Alliance Winter Challenge will finally take place this weekend after it was postponed last weekend due to Setsoto Stadium's water bills.
This year's edition will commence with an interesting clash between Matlama and LCS this Saturday, before Lioli welcomed Swallows later on the day.
Lioli, Matlama and LCS are all the Alliance sponsored clubs, and the tournament is meant for them to get ready for the new Lesotho Premier League season.
The trio invites a fourth-team each year to also participate in this Alliance knock-out tournament. The tournament started in 2015 with Matlama becoming the first team to win it, before LCS won it back-to-back from 2016.
And none of the invited teams have up to so far won this competition, with Liphakoe being the first to be invited in 2015 and then Sandawana FC and Bantu in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
Lioli have also not lifted the Alliance Winter Challenge, making them the only Alliance sponsored club to have not be crowded the tournament's champions.
It is remains to be seen whether Tse Nala (Lioli) will this time around finally win the trophy.
