• History: The Sport was initially just the website which was intended to publicize sports news for free. It was a website for the Lesotho Sports Reporters Association (LSRA). It was launched in 2014. But later in 2015 the website was closed.  However, it continued to operate as a page on facebook since then. 
• Nthako Majoro, the founder of The Sport and its executive editor has 15 years as the sports writer. Among other international tournaments he covered was the 2014 African Youth Games held in Gaborone, Botswana and the 2014 African Union Sports Council (AUSC) Region 5 Under-20 Youth Games held in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. 
  
• Achievements: He won Media Award in 2006, Print Sport Journalist of the Year in 2012/13 and Rugby Media Award in 2015.
